I still love the SimCity series of games. It’s too bad EA took it over and pretty much ruined the series with SimCity Societies. I still play SimCity 4 and I love it. Especially when you have the Rush Hour expansion pack. The challenge of controlling your traffic flow is difficult, just like with a real city. However, the game is very unrealistic in many ways.

Thankfully, there are mods available still for SimCity 4 that greatly improve the gameplay. My favorite is the NetworkAddon mod. It greatly improves the realism of the game. Now even though the game is 5 years old, the utility I get out of it is renewed.

Madness Realism Mod

1. Jan 14, 2019 This mod has undergone a total overhaul of The Sims 4 weather systems so there is a lot more realism and variety. It requires the Seasons expansion and adds rain in winter, four types of rain.
2. Food Delivery Service. Cooking in the Sims takes a long time. Spending 4 hours to make some nasty eggs just isn’t worth it, so order in! This mod is a huge upgrade to the pizza delivery service, and we love it.

Mods For Simcity 4

So far, I only have NAM. I want to have all the mods installed before I start playing. I want to keep the core game (No unlimited money for example), but i want to add in a bunch of cool features, graphics, realism, etc. NAM is a great example - it adds more pieces for transportation and makes the transportation work better/ more realistically.
